Jordan Kozer was born to drum. He started playing his father’s 1966 Ludwig drum set at just five years old, quickly developing an energetic, hard-hitting style influenced by legendary drummers like John Bonham, Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, Mitch Mitchell, Charlie Watts, and Elvin Jones. Known for his rock-solid rhythm and fierce energy, Jordan brings a unique spark to every band he performs with.
Over the years, Jordan has played with more than 50 bands, including The Redwalls, The Record Low, Ezra Furman & The Harpoons, Fort Frances, The Webstirs, and Rivals of the Peacemaker. His musical journey has taken him on tours across the United States and Europe, sharing stages with icons like Little Feat, Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, Rusted Root, Mr. Big, Blues Traveler, and The Guess Who. Jordan has also contributed to several critically acclaimed recordings, including Universal Blues by The Redwalls, Now You’ve Really Done It by The Webstirs, and Waterfall by Tom Fuller Band.
Now 39 and based in Chicago, Jordan’s passion for drumming remains unstoppable. He plays in five original bands spanning a wide range of styles, from rock and pop to Americana and bluegrass, continuing to shape the music with every beat.
