Biography

Jordan Kozer was born a drummer. He started playing his dad’s 1966 Ludwig drum set at the age of 5 years old and was influenced by great drummers including John Bonham, Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, Mitch Mitchell, Charlie Watts and Elvin Jones. Jordan developed an energetic, rock solid, hard-hitting approach that sets him apart from other drummers and brings new life to each band he plays with.

Throughout the years, Jordan has performed with over 50 bands including The Redwalls, The Record Low, Ezra Furman & The Harpoons, Fort Frances, The Webstirs, and Rivals of the Peacemaker. He has toured throughout the United States and Europe opening for bands such as Little Feat, Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, Rusted Root, Mr. Big, Blues Traveler, and The Guess Who. Jordan has also played on a variety of recordings including The Redwalls’ 2003 release, Universal Blues, The Webstirs’ Now You’ve Really Done It, and Tom Fuller Band’s latest LP, Freedom. At 33 years old, Jordan lives in Chicago and plays drums in 5 original bands with styles ranging from rock and pop to jazz.
